Project Direction

This project started out with the development and application of a studio brand, however, the focus later shifted to a studio layout design prompted by the use of theory from 3D space applications featured in ‘Grid Systems in Graphic Design’.

Challenge

This work brings to life the community that underpins the company brand using avatars and 3D models. Then, considering space and place, the office was developed to build a strong narrative around the context in which the brand’s creative works have evolved.

Avatars

While each asset was individually crafted with its own unique personality and features, they took on new meaning when placed together in 3D spaces. Grids were used to guide the placement of objects in the office. Furthermore, a sense of movement through space was communicated with avatars that did not just stand, but could run, jump, play and hangout in this vibrant world.
